Salvation
The wait seemed eternal
Dead expressions
Teary eyes
A few lost words….
The sound of rain
The smell of the earth
The clouds playing the sky
Beckoning me
Towards a new beginning
The door stands ajar
The sea beyond the threshold
I step into the water
And fly way
Into nothingness
A second door
Open, inviting
I look inside
And find love
And suddenly a storm brews
Lightning strikes the shade
I look around
I am all alone.
The road keeps moving
Ahead is my destiny
For love whispered in my ears
“You find salvation in me.”

First of all, there are grammatical mistakes. I’ll advise using a word processor with spelling & grammar checking capabilities next time. Apart from that, strictly speaking, I don’t have the required aptitude for criticizing poetries. Are you sure poetry is a more suitable medium than prose to express yourself?

@debsuvra i saw the spelling mistakes after posting….as regards poetry vs prose, i will vote for poetry because i feel i can express more using less words.

Poetry is not synonymous to less words. You can also express yourself in prose choosing creatively crafted words, resulting less chatter and greater aftershock.
