Ode To Kolkata

Forlorn on the pavement lay a baby,
A crow by its side.
Carcass of death led to distinct madness
Shadow of the soul dried fast.

Chambers of the closet open,
Pages unfurl in the seas
Majestic the beauty of spring,
The forlorn baby weeps.

Sails are set in motion,
Hopes fathom depth of future
Dreams script a bouquet of adventures
The heart clings to the tears.

Love – a torrid journey;
A mystique sailed past by
Routing towards oblivion,
Relationships flee towards the sky!
