30 Days Blogging Challenge: Day 14 – Three Healthy Habits
I could not stop myself from laughing when I saw the topic of the day. Asking me about three healthy habits is like asking Narendra Modi about communal amity or Rahul Gandhi about governance. Healthy habits and I maintain a safe distance so that neither of us is corrupted by the other’s influence.
Anyways, coming back to the point of healthy habits, after much deliberation (and FB chat with Bham), I decided that the following definitely merit a mention:
- Having sex, loads of it (but with proper protection):
Now don’t feel shy, you. Nature has endowed with a reproductive system not for nothing! Indian culture can take a hike, you must use your – ahem – organs well. Try net practice a lot in case you are preparing for a big match (that would help). Having sex is good for your circulatory system, and also serves as a good exercise (in case you try different positions) to lose weight. So, what are you waiting for… Anybody willing to take the plunge? winks
- Laugh out loud
Indian society is at a crossroads where humour is slowly losing its space. Post something on social media/write a book/ make a movie and someone, somewhere will take offence. Indians have lost their funny bone. Change this status-quo. Speak out. Rather, laugh out loud. The health benefits that come along, are too long to list in this short blog.
- Read. Know. Grow.
There is no substitute for knowledge. In this age of free-flowing information, written word is taken for gospel. Media runs stories without investigation and rumours on Whatsapp trigger riots. We need to have the skill to separate facts from faff. Only reading can enhance our knowledge and that can fuel growth. Knowledge is healthy for the progress of civilization.
